Chapter 2--Aw....Those were the days........
Dear journal,
Today while I was trying to tidy my room,I came across a hidden treasure that have been lying dormant during these years(quite a number actually). My primary school autograph book.Instantly,a whole array of memories swept over me as I flipped through each pages and the feeling is just like I was brought back to my primary school days!(no kidding ok although this sentence might sound very fake to some of you)Flipping through the pages,I realized that time had really flies past that easily just like a flip of my hand and I even had to try my very best to retrieve from my memory database the descriptions of some of my pals who had written in my autogragh book but whom I had really forgotten in this present days(shame to you yongster!)Anyway,I had to really admit that the primary school days were highly enjoyable days and although the teachers did not leave an impression on me, the friends certainly do.At least,I can really remembered the times when a group of us(junior, senior, zhixian, jiaohao, yongwee, zhenlong)used to play together during recess times. In class, I really appreciate the company of huiwen who now have a really cool christian name call celestine and whom used to sit just behind me,zhenlong who sit in front of me and whom was the target of my constant suaning(yes people,my powerful suaning practices start right from my primary school days),Nurhuda who sit beside me(right) and who was always a joy to talk to and finally ding cheng who also sit beside me(left) and whom I always helped him with his science assignments('help' in this case means literally helped him to complete it by doing it for him) and of course also my gang of brothers again, zhixian, jiaohao, yongwee, senior and junior. And of course not forgetting the rest of my classmates whom I was also close to like Lilian,Lijun,Meixin etc. From the above description,it shouldn't take a genius to realize that I was very close to my primary school pals during that few eventful years. In fact,I have always wondered why we almost always forget our primary school friends the moment we set foot into secondary schools. Is it because we were still very young at that times and our memories were still not fully developed at that time or simply because of the facts that we tend to take our primary school friends most for granted. It seems like the bonds we shared during primary school days had magically disappeared the moment we left our primary schools and up till now I still think and feel that that is a real BIG pity.In fact, I am now so flooded with emotions now that I had decided to give a more detailed descriptions of my primary school days in my next journal, Until then,aw those were the days........
Yours sincerely,Yongster
